WHO I AM

I believe to my core that exercise is medicine. I carry with me a deep love for improving quality of life through listening to what our bodies need - and creating sustainably active lifestyles around it. During my time working as a personal trainer, I've been lucky to complete my Bachelor's [University of South Dakota] and Master's [University of Minnesota-Twin Cities] degrees in Exercise Science.

A passion for continuing education has also led me to becoming a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Nutrition Coach. Chronic disease, musculoskeletal disorders and the struggle to execute proper nutrition are all experiences I've felt personally. Combined with the last 5 years of experience in this field, education has given me opportunity to combat these factors efficiently with my clients.

Frequent communication between a client and I allows for me to listen to your concerns, help you achieve your goals & make it enjoyable along the way. My programming is in person or virtual, catered towards your equipment accessibility, training background and medical history.

Madelyn has a strong background in physical fitness and is constantly learning to stay up-to-date on the best exercises for her clients. She focuses on your form and is knowledgeable on how the body works. She won't let you do an exercise that is with incorrect form - which is immensely important when weight training. I feel challenged in every workout and she pushes me towards my goals.
